NT Labs Broad pH Test Kit – Precision for Your Pond’s pH Balance
Understanding pH: The NT Labs Broad Range pH Test Kit is specially designed for testing water within the pH range of 6 – 9, covering the pH spectrum commonly observed in ponds. With enhanced precision offering 0.5 unit determination, this test ensures accurate monitoring of your pond’s pH levels.
Correct pH Level: While there is no universally correct pH level, different fish species have their preferred pH ranges. Generally, the ideal pH value falls between 7 and 8, but it’s essential to consider the specific requirements of the fish you own. Always inquire about the preferred water conditions when purchasing fish from your local aquatic retailer.
What to Do if the pH Level is Off:

If adjustments are necessary, make changes slowly to avoid shocking the fish. Limit pH adjustments to no more than 0.5 units every 2 days.
Conduct substantial water changes if your tap water has a suitable pH to correct dangerous pH levels.
Check the KH (carbonate hardness) of the pond. Use pH adjusters like KH – Buffer Up to raise pH caused by soft or aged water.
For fish in soft, acid water, consider using bogwood to gently lower the pH and soften the water.

How to Use:

Ensure the test tube is clean.
Collect a 5ml water sample into the test tube.
Add 5 drops of the pH reagent, replace the test tube cap, and shake thoroughly.
Compare the color of your sample to the provided color scale for an accurate pH reading.

Maintain the optimal pH balance in your pond with the NT Labs Broad pH Test Kit. With improved precision and a broad testing range, this kit empowers you to create the perfect environment for your fish. Trust NT Labs for reliable water testing solutions, ensuring the health and happiness of your aquatic companions.
